sales
Diptrics sells over 25 collections to 110 stores, boutiques, and department stores throughout Japan's many regions.
We develop a custom-made sales strategy for each brand considering the designer's target and how that best translates to the Japanese market.
With further input from the designer, stores are then approached.
Between seasons, our sales team visits each point-of-sale to examine the merchandising of the brand. Feedback from the buyers on sell-throughs and on customer reactions is forwarded back to the designer in order to explain what retailers currently respond well to and to help the designer forecast in the seasons to come.
press and publications
Exposure in the major fashion and style publications enables association of the product with the designer's name and vision. It is also an invaluable tool for sales.
A 'collection overview' exhibition is held at the end of each sales session where we introduce editors, stylists, and writers to the new season's collection.
Our PR staff prepare a variety of press kits and throughout the season lend samples to publications for photo shoots. At the end of the season we issue a press report to the designer including all articles and editorial publicity.
Additional services are available when needed including production and PR of fashion shows/exhibitions in Japan.
For certain designers, our PR staff collaborate on their headlining show during fashion week in Paris, London,New York or elsewhere. Communication of the show to the Japanese media and relevant buyers, invitation requests, seating, front-of-house guest control, interview coordination and follow-up services are offered.

merchandising
All orders are delivered to our office first and thereafter distributed to shops.
Our merchandising staff carefully examine the quantity and quality of the shipment upon receipt, then make arrangements for dispatch to each store.
Solving issues of discrepancies and complaints on merchandise is of primary concern.
Individual invoices and packing lists to each shop are prepared according to local practice.
The whole procedure is to make the export a consolidated, simple and efficient process for the designer.
