Window display for MIKIMOTO
Bond Street, Lodon 31.08.04 - 01.10.04 To celebrate London Fashion Week, Japanese pearl jeweller Mikimoto invited Miki Fukai to hold a combined window display at their showroom on Bond Street.
The windows were designed by Aki Takigawa, Art Director of Miki Fukai using her inspirations. The overall theme was a modern interpretation of light and textures. Everything was covered, wrapped or painted in white with textures using glass, mirror, salt and cultured pearls. Small TVs were running in each window broadcasting Miki’s shows.
Exhibition at MIDWEST showroom Tokyo and Nagoya, 01.04 - 02.04 Japanese fashion boutique, MIDWEST organized a group exhibition of Miki Fukai and Swash. Fukai chose to present the previous collaborative work with various stylists for magazines. Display direction: Aki Takigawa
